It was a great pleasure to see that our first publication from last year had a visibly positive impact on the career of the artists featured in it. Ákos Ezer found a new gallery in Munich. Julia Végh is planning an exhibition in New York in cooperation with a French curator. Pista Horror takes part in international resident programs for almost half a year. Our publication was a worthy presentation of their works, which contributed to increase their visibility in the international art scene.
In our second publication, similarly to that of last year, we present young artists who, based on their works and achievements so far, may become famous not only in Hungary, but also abroad. This time the works of Gábor Baksa photographer, Adrián Klájó visual artist, Dávid Kovács photographer and Nóra Teplán visual artist are included in the volume.
Maybe not in a very extraordinary fashion, I would like to use this introduction for acknowledgements. First and foremost, I am thankful to Attila Brezóczki and INOTAL Ltd., whose love of art and support made it possible for this publication to be born. Furthermore, I would like to express my gratitude to Andrea Berg, whose accurate and detailed texts and analyses introduce the artists and their works, at the same time bringing them closer to us. For the English translation, I would like to thank Dr. Zsófia Orosz-Réti and I am also grateful to Emőke Bada for the linguistic and professional proofreading. Finally, I would like to thank Attila Ács for the fresh, young and professional design of the volume.
I trust that our new publication will be able to enhance the professional advancement of our artists as successfully as it did last time.
